Job Number: R0180276 University, Cybersecurity Intern
Key Role: Work as part of an innovative team on various aspects of the cybersecurity field. Participate in cybersecurity services, training, and research and organize best practices for cyber logging, incident detection and response, and engineering standards. Contribute to assigned cybersecurity tasks for the entire semester. Assist with programming and scripting, while learning to work with hardware and sof tware and various aspects of the sof tware development life cycle. Work with assigned Integrated Product Team, mentor, and job leader. Basic Qualifications: * Experience with cybersecurity principles * Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems * Ability to obtain a security clearance * Scheduled to obtain a Bachelors degree by Spring 2026 Additional Qualifications: * Knowledge of embedded systems concepts * Ability to leverage expertise in te chn ical writing and presentations * Ability to review sof tware source code against secure coding standards * Ability to analyze documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface control documents ( ICD ) , for potential security vulnerabilities Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
