We are looking for people with the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)

Responsibilities you may have:

* Provides assistance to support systems/specialty engineers (e.g., Product Security Engineers) in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
* Supports the Product Security Engineers and Teams in the:
* Implementation of cybersecurity requirements over the entire engineering life-cycle including:
* Requirements
* Design
* Development
* Integration
* Verification & Validation
* Test

* Performance of product security engineering and cybersecurity engineering for a portfolio of programs
* System analysis for cyber threats
* System test for cyber threats, cyber test activities, and the cybersecurity of large scale events
* Cyber risk assessments and the development of risk mitigation plans
* Engineering analysis of patches and various system updates and upgrades to determine system consequence of these changes
* Development and maintenance of cyber scanning, patching remediation, tools and applications
* Facilitation of various ATO packages including processing IAVMs and CTOs
* Use of Agile methodologies for planning and execution of tasks
* Support of other related tasks as necessary

* Assists with gathering reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data.
* Gathers information to assist in assessment of maintainability design.
* Gathers information to support failure reporting.
* Provides basic assistance to support the coordination of certification and plans and verifies compliance to requirements.
* Documents certification processes, tools and procedures.
* Works under close supervision.
* Clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
* Makes customers and their needs a primary focus.
* Provide products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes and embrace first-time quality as a way of life - not accepting, creating or passing any defects and speaking up.
* Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
* Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., product security engineering, cybersecurity, design, test, software, technology, avionics).
* Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
* Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as product security engineering, systems, and software.
* Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
* Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Active Final Secret Clearance Level (or higher)
* Possess a Cybersecurity IAT/IAM Level 1 Certification or higher IAT/IAM level including:
* IAT Level 1-A+
* Network+
* IAM Level 2 - CAP
* Security+

* Associate's degree in related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with Risk Management Framework process along with both the NIST and DOD standards for RMF
