System Engineer Level 2 position - Annapolis Junction, MD (# 4)
TS/SCI with active polygraph required This position is supporting an Enterprise Cybersecurity Services/Cybersecurity Guidance Contract. The main three tasks are: * Strategic Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering
* Supply Chain Risk Management
* Cybersecurity Support to Systems and Capability Acquisition This position entails requirements for support to the integration of enterprise information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity capabilities into architectures, processes, and programs. These tasks consist of architecture development and integration, risk assessment, enterprise systems security engineering, and implementation activities to achieve assured National Security System enterprises. The goal of advancing the enterprise cybersecurity vision and providing consistent application of time-phased cybersecurity capabilities includes tasks supporting government enterprises, acquisition programs, and operational networks. This work may require internal partnership with the Agency's Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSEs), and external partnerships with the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community, the Department of Homeland Security, and other Federal government customers and communities such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It also includes requirements for interaction with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) architecture teams to ensure crosscutting IA architectural issues are appropriately and consistently addressed across the enterprise. This position will be the provision of consistent guidance to customers with the goal of promoting interoperability among federated architectures and improved cybersecurity in the DoD, Intelligence, and Federal government communities. QUALIFICATIONS Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's.
