The Senior Leader, Cybersecurity and Identity Management will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and be a senior member of the IT leadership team. This leader is responsible for driving an enterprise class Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) program for Discount Tire. This team member will focus on maintaining and optimizing Discount Tire’s capabilities to achieve business objectives. This role requires cybersecurity and identity management technical skills, and experience, in addition to proven business engagement experience.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Cybersecurity leader for Discount Tire, you will be empowered to define and manage the cybersecurity and identity roadmap on a yearly basis, including budgeting, to make sure the security posture remains current, risks are appropriately managed, and user experience is optimal
  • Accountable and responsible for the ongoing development of the IAM strategy, roadmap, and design for the organization. Organize and work with key IT stakeholders to design, build, test, deploy, integrate, and maintain an enterprise class IAM solution and its supporting infrastructure
  • Will drive maturity within the company’s Workforce identity program and expand program to include Customer and Vendor identities
  • Will develop and optimize the operational support of the organization’s identity management program
  • Collaborates with key business and IT stakeholders and solution providers to drive the IAM solution requirements, organizational change management and user adoption of the IAM solution
  • Ensures IAM strategy and roadmap is aligned with organizational roadmap and priorities
  • Organizes IAM Governance; establish and enforce IAM standardization across the organization and adoption by all new applications
  • Work directly with internal IT and business stakeholders to integrate existing applications into the IAM platform
  • Participate in the standards process for IAM solutions, to support the development and implementation of applicable security and enterprise architecture standards and best practices
  • Stays current on the latest industry and emerging IAM technologies and business knowledge of industry directions and trends within the IAM space
  • Develops and leads IAM system operational and maintenance activities; drives continual service improvements in support of the business
  • Ensure design diagrams, system configurations, process design documentation, operating procedures and application integration documentation is delivered and maintained
  • Identify, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators for IAM business functions. Ensures IAM solution provides operational reporting.
  • Implement controls to effectively manage the lifecycle and security of user and privileged accounts
  • Conduct awareness and training campaigns across the organization to educate employees about the company’s Cybersecurity and IAM programs, their benefits, and improvements to overall security posture
  • Champion all aspects of the IAM Program, including the business value, ownership of the roadmap, project milestones and key messaging to business and IT
  • Supports all IT processes and program standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing others; creating and measuring individual performance goals; and an understanding of servant leadership
  • Minimum 8 years of experience producing within an Information Security, Risk, or IT business segment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM solution design, implementation, and operations
  • Minimum 5 years of prior management experience leading Cybersecurity, IAM or Enterprise IT teams and delivering enterprise class solutions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, customizing, configuring, and deploying Cybersecurity and IAM product solutions
  • Minimum 3 years architecture experience, establishment of technical standards; and management of a governance process highly sought
  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing enterprise information security services including threat management, identity management, access management, endpoint security, data privacy and retention, incident monitoring and response, and risk assessments
  • Experience managing vendors (MSSPs (Managed Security Service Provider)) and leading cross-functional teams
  • A security first mindset; capability to communicate risk and plan upon risk-based prioritization
  • An analytical demeanor and strong decision-making skills
  • Capability to assess, plan and execute cybersecurity and identity integration within merger and acquisition activity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as the successful candidate will have frequent interaction with key business partners, IT management, vendors, and other technology teams
  • Extensive knowledge of IAM concepts, strategies, standards, and technologies
  • A solid technical foundation in enabling and delivering enterprise technologies
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively
  • Ability to design, evaluate and document processes and lead teams in accomplishing process review and improvement
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Develop and mentor team members both technically and professionally to drive and support career development
  • Active within industry user groups to build peer relationships and promote Discount Tire as an employment destination

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering; MBA highly preferred
  • CISSP, CISM, or GSEC certification preferred; PMP certification beneficial
