Overview
As a key member of the CIO Team, you will lead Steampunk's cybersecurity efforts to protect internal systems and data from the constantly evolving threat landscape. In this position, you will enjoy the freedom to craft Steampunk's internal cyber approach and see it come to fruition through your efforts leading the design and implementation. Contributions
In this role, you will: Develop an overarching approach to securing Steampunk's systems and data
Provide subject matter expertise on architecture, authentication and system security
Develop security training and guidance
Lead the design and implementation of security controls for Steampunk's FCI and CUI environments
Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and 800-171 for Steampunk's internal systems including the development and maintenance of system security plans and POA&Ms
Lead the response to any cybersecurity incidents
Lead the implementation of dashboards and operational processes for monitoring risks to Steampunk systems and data
Qualifications
Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
Ability to formulate strategies for cybersecurity risk reduction and translate into policies and direction
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft cloud-native cybersecurity tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Sensitivity Labels, Defender, and XDR. Demonstrated experience formulating and leading the implementation of cybersecurity architectures
Experience leading security assessments including demonstrated experience translating security controls into actionable engineering requirements
