Description Senior Cybersecurity Engineer San Deigo, CA Responsibilities: This job will provide contractor support to the Naval Information Warfare (NAVWAR) Systems Command for Professional Support Services (PSS) to acquire, deliver, and sustain modern Information Warfare capabilities to the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, and coalition partners. The pay range for this position is 100k-105k. The candidate will be able to help perform the following tasks: Cybersecurity Engineers prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. They may also perform the following duties: • Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber resilient network • Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure • Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports Requirements: * Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance * Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent * 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
