Product Security Project Leader (Engineering Project\n Manager I) role supports the Lead Product Security System Integrator in\n the leadership of the product security team through the new product \ndevelopment and post-marketing phases of product development. There is a\n high level of interaction and influence with the product security team \nand project teams to ensure the teams keep schedule commitments. The \nProduct Security Project Leader role follows product development \nprocesses and integrates best practices for product security \n(cybersecurity) to ensure products are designed and maintained to be \nsecure. The person in this role must be developing independence and \nstrong leadership skills to evolve to leading activities and or smaller \nprojects.
Provides direction to product security team members that are \nresponsible for producing product security deliverables, following up to\n ensure issues are quickly surfaced and addressed. Enables technical \nproduct security team members to focus on technical details, while being\n their representative on project teams. Exhibits creativity and \ninnovation in completing divisional and cross-functional/business unit \ngoals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•\tEstablishes and tracks team deliverables and budgets for project completion
•\tWork directly with technical team members to plan and execute \nproject deliverables such as cybersecurity threat model, cybersecurity \nrisk assessment sBOMs, MDS2
•\tWork directly with technical team members and Project Core Team to\n plan roadmap for penetration test and cybersecurity certification \nactivities.
•\tSupport project communication by interacting with Project Manager,\n Project Core Team and extended teams to ensure effective communications\n and manage expectations
•\tSupport communication and coordination for vulnerability incident response handling activities
•\tCoordinate project documentation
•\tCreate and maintain project schedules
•\tAssist in tracking and communication of project risks


Requirements

Qualifications:
•\tStrong attention to detail
•\tStrong leadership potential
•\tUnderstanding of Product Development Process requirements
•\tFamiliarity with software development, product security (cybersecurity) and privacy best practices
•\tFamiliarity with medical device security regulations and \nstandards, vulnerability handling and disclosure processes, management \nof penetration test results
•\tExperience with scheduling software
•\tProduct Development experience, familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Education and/or Experience:
•\tBachelor level degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years \nproject management experience, and 2 years of product life cycle \nexperience.
