This cybersecurity position will be on a dynamic team, programing ship systems at our Washington, DC location. This position a Hybrid position that requires you to possess an Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain per contract requirements. Serco supports the Navy in the acquisition of new technology used to defend our nation. Our team provides cybersecurity program management support; cybersecurity system engineering and development support; and cybersecurity scan and assessment team support. This includes programs supporting all facets of Navy acquisition including platforms and systems. You will be part of a five to seven member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Glen Sturtz leads this team with over 30 years' experience and is a military veteran. The team has been supporting Cybersecurity Engineering for over 10 years and has been recognized by both the Navy and DHS for their outstanding contributions. In this role, you will: * Prepare and deliver a System Security Plan (SSP). * Support cybersecurity technical reviews of Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTS), Ship Alterations (SHIPALTS), Ship Alteration Record (SAR), and Engineering Change Instructions (ECI). * Develop, recommend, implement, monitor, update, and maintain Cybersecurity practices, procedures, equipment, algorithms, and hardware used to execute tasking in this contract. * Support data protection and segregation of data at different security classifications, assist to integrate CYBERSAFE methodologies onto current platforms, and support providing guidance following Vulnerability Assessments for platform specific Information Assurance (IA) requirements. * Assist in the development of the RMF accreditation packages using current DoD Instruction 8510.01 accreditation methods, to include the System Authorization Boundary, Hardware/Software/Firmware list, Dataflow Diagram, Security Plan, POA&M, System Categorization, Enterprise Reporting RMF Scorecard, System Level Continuous Monitoring (SLCM) Strategy, Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Assessment Plan (SAP), and Security Assessment Report (SAR). * Provide Cybersecurity governance and policy support for Cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals and objectives. * Provide Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support services. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: * Bachelors Degree from accredited University in Cybersecurity or related field, or military training in cybersecurity (can be combination) with 8 to 10 years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience is required. * A current Top-Secret clearance is required AND must be maintained. * A CISSP, CISM and/or IAM/IAT level II or III certification is required. * Navy Qualified Validator (Intermediate Level ) Certificate level II or III from Navy Certification Authority, or equivalent is required at time of performance. * Familiarity with MS-Office software to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Power Point. * Proficiency in technical writing. * Travel up to 10% may be required.
