Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is currently looking to hire an IT Cybersecurity Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This opportunity must be performed onsite in either Arlington, VA or Pensacola, FL. Remote work may be considered, but is less desirable. Title: IT Cybersecurity Manager
Location: Arlington, VA or Pensacola, FL Responsibilities:
• Vulnerabilities and Exploits Expertise: Evaluating cyber operations to identify areas requiring additional support. Analyzing cyber threats and vulnerabilities to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Global Vulnerability Ecosystem Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the global vulnerability ecosystem, including CVE, CWE, NVD, etc. Managing network security applications, devices, and software such as encryption, firewalls, and demilitarized zones.
• Software Development Concepts: Demonstrated understanding of software development concepts to contribute to effective cybersecurity solutions.
• Collaborative and Communication Skills: Leading technical collaboration efforts to build and maintain high-performing teams. Comfortably briefing complex information for diverse audiences, showcasing excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Program and Project Management: Proven experience in program and project management. Demonstrated requirements management experience contributing to the success of cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strategic Planning and Change Management: Strong capabilities in strategic planning, process improvement, and change management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business partners, and other stakeholders. Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in Engineering & Architecture.
• Professional certifications related to cybersecurity such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar highly desired.
• Experience working in the intelligence community or private sector cyber risk intelligence.
• Experience helping to lead a team of analysts develop analytic and written intelligence products.
• Expert in communications, project management, cyber risk intelligence (vulnerability and threat intelligence)
• Experience briefing senior leadership and developing products for multiple audience levels.
• Experience in managing programs, contracts, staff and subcontractors.
• Experience in DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Experience in cloud computing and automation in Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Experience in overseeing and managing multiple interdependent cross-functional teams.
• Experience in agile methodologies and working in Agile environments.
• Experience in managing multiple projects with large contract portfolio.
• Experience in managing competing projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. About Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA):
