Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect and Strategist (REMOTE)

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

KBR is seeking a qualified candidate for its Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect and Strategist located in National Capital Region (NCR). This position is responsible for supporting a Defense and Intelligence cybersecurity focus on the expansion and development of services and solutions for the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Federal Agencies current and future cyber requirements. This individual is also responsible for developing competitive proposal solutions that support the clients cyber strategy, current or emerging architectures, and technology roadmaps. The qualified candidate will work with senior leadership within Operations and Business Development with the purpose of connecting offerings to customers and customers to company services and solutions.

This position will need to bring existing cybersecurity customer relationships and working knowledge of their cybersecurity roadmaps while developing and maintaining strong business development relationships with key decision makers in the government and industry. This position will require the individual to demonstrate a technical understanding of the technologies associated with the full spectrum of cybersecurity. This will include understanding the system integration of different technologies as part of a winning solution for a proposal.

The qualified candidate will need to bring expertise in DoD, IC, and Federal Agency cyber activities and their associated technology roadmaps.

Will serve as the Technical Lead for cyber innovation lab.

This position reports to the Vice President Security Solutions Division in the System Engineering Group of KBR. Travel anticipated to be 25% of the successful candidates schedule.

Specific tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

KBR facing (internal) responsibilities include:

  • Provides guidance and direction on cybersecurity related technical/solution issues;

  • Assist in the development of cyber solutions and winning technical proposals.

Principal customer-facing (external) responsibilities includes:

  • Collaborating with Business Development counterparts and Operations team members in engaging customers relating to key opportunities;

  • Presenting at and/or participating in trade conferences to increase awareness of KBR and keep informed on business opportunities and trends;

  • Cultivating strategic partnerships to strengthen KBRs win probability;

  • Collaborating with customers and partners to win new business;

  • Working with other KBR business units to develop cross-organizational synergy.

Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills. Strong analytical ability. Previous proposal support experience.

Clearance:

Active Secret clearance is acceptable. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance or previously held one less than two years ago.

Experience and Education:

Technical degree and 12+ years of experience that include 10+ years of cybersecurity industry experience developing enterprise level solutions and winning proposals. Cybersecurity and operating systems certifications required.

Fraud Alert

Fraud has infiltrated the job placement market via the internet, email and direct phone contact.
