Role Description: The Cybersecurity Specialist will support the US Army Reserve Command (USARC) to protect and defend USAR information and information systems across NETCOM managed DoDIN environments. -Provide restoration of information systems by incorporating identifying, protecting, detecting, responding and recovering capabilities. - Draft, maintain, and modify all required documents/plans to include contingency, incident response, and change management plans.Support testing of plans. -Support assess and authorize (A&A) activities of USAR managed systems by conducting research, reviewing documentation, and providing input for RMF packages to applicable stakeholders for review and approval. -Maintain RMF Executive Packages documentation for certification analysis.Coordinate with USAR Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to gather any missing information or resolve other issues precluding certification analysis. -Review audit and log files for systems to ensure authentication policies are audited and in compliance with FISMA. -Review compliance with current cybersecurity policy, regulations, and directives to ensure secure configuration, and operation of enterprise capabilities and IT assets, recommending corrective actions as required. -Provide Cybersecurity Capabilities to drive cybersecurity strategy, policy, resourcing, and doctrine to optimize and enable defense in depth for DoD information Network operations. -Implement, apply, execute, and enforce STIG standards and processes throughout all unclassified and classified network devices. -Provide vulnerability and compliance assessment reports and analyses using government provided scanning tools such as ACAS and DoD Enterprise Security Solutions. -Test, evaluate, and verify approved compliance security policies, configurations, and updates for USAR networks. -Provide threat assessment modeling analysis and reports for USAR Compliance and DoD RMF. -Support Access Control Identity Management services by providing controls over access to service infrastructure components and protecting services from unauthorized access or use. -Manage and maintain synchronization of passwords for single sign-on solutions. Qualifications: Clearance: Top Secret Certifications:One of the following:CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO (IAM-II) CCNA, CYSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP (IAT-II) Experience: 3+ years of IA technology experience Benefits at Sentar: In addition to a great culture, Sentar offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees and their families!
