Job Title: Cybersecurity Sales Executive - Commercial

Reports To: Integrator/President

Job Description:
As a Cyber Security Sales executive, you will be directly responsible for establishing and managing the growth of our cybersecurity sales opportunities, providing highlights and guidance on sales forecasting, processes, reporting, enablement, and commercial market development. You will work closely with the cybersecurity team and play a key role in establishing growth strategies, partner growth, and solution development. This role also includes direct interface with senior client executives, partners, and key account pursuits. You will also be responsible for the development of key channels, client segments, as well as the development of individual sales strategy and goals for cybersecurity.

Location: North East, Mid-Atlantic, or South East region
Schedule: Flexible schedule, Mon-Fri between 8 am and 6 pm,
Travel: To client sites as required. Minimal travel requirements

Duties and responsibilities:

· Building and maintaining executive relationships with clients, partners, and prospects

· Identify key decision makers while developing and qualifying new business opportunities

· Acquire new client accounts through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships

· Identify prospect security and technical requirements and business challenges

· Qualify opportunities to determine scope and develop proposal solutions and services

· Develop business development leads for planning and coordination with key partners

· Perform sales functions and have experience in cold calling, lead generation and prospecting

· Interface with senior executives and support key opportunity capture leads delivering cybersecurity business development solutions and services

· Develop relationships that enable sales coordination and account meetings

· Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and account plans to establish and manage client leads, service delivery and client satisfaction

· Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

· Provide forecasting and reporting models to provide visibility into sales pipeline

· Support market development and marketing activities

· Develop proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and client requirements

· Actively participate at trade shows, conferences, and events including speaking engagements and presenting technical demonstrations

· Proactively communicate with clients and prospects to ensure exceptional client satisfaction, and pass on feedback or instructions to the appropriate delivery department

Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Proven 10+ years track record of selling commercial cybersecurity solutions and services
  • Experience selling Federal government or Defense Industrial Base solution s and services – preferred
  • Experience designing and presenting technical solutions and services to meet client needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player, accountable
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, integrity and initiative
  • Clear, logical, and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-Level executive(s)
  • Previous Sales/Business Development methodology training and CRM experience
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Track records of over-achieving sales quota in past role(s)
  • Experience using social media to prospect – preferred
  • Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework(s) and other cybersecurity regulations - preferred
  • CompTIA’s Security+ certification or other relevant cybersecurity certification(s) - preferred
  • Have the ability to obtain or hold a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance – preferred

Working conditions:
Physical Demands:

· Working at a stationary desk with sit and stand options available

· Typing on QWERTY style keyboard

· Viewing of a lighted computer monitor

· Speaking on the telephone and in-person conversations with clients, partners, and vendors

· Walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds

· Direct interaction and collaboration with Marketing, Delivery, Contracts and Federal BD sales team
