In the role of Cybersecurity Project Manager, you are responsible to plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity and compliance initiatives to ensure the organization's information systems and data are secure and align with regulatory requirements. You'll have the opportunity to assist Safran Electrical & Power sites in obtaining CMMC certification. Prefer hybrid work environment, involving onsite at our Denton, TX office and work from home. Alternatively, open to proximity to another site including: Everett, WA; Sarasota, FL; or Twinsburg, OH.

This position contributes to our vision by:
•Collaborates with stakeholders, including IT teams, compliance officers, and business leaders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables;
•Develops comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet project objectives and deadlines;
•Conducts feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose mitigation strategies;
•Monitors project progress, tracks milestones, and manages any deviations from the plan. Provides regular status updates to stakeholders;
•Stays current with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and compliance regulations to ensure project adherence to industry best practices;
•Applies knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS) and compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS) to guide project implementations;
•Oversees the implementation of the CMMC initiative across multiple Safran Electrical & Power sites.

Candidate skills & requirements

•Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
•Requires 3+ years proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in cybersecurity, compliance, or technology projects;
•Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable;
•Up to 25% of travel required;
•Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and compliance standards. - Advanced
