What You'll Get to Do
You will lead our Cybersecurity Team in Support of SEA 03C Cyber Engineering and Policy. You will help SEA 03 to set Navy policy and procedures for key cyber and digital initiatives across the NAVSEA enterprise. While NAVWAR handles cybersecurity for shipboard networks and communication systems, NAVSEA 03 is responsible for everything else onboard: hull, mechanical and electrical systems, radars, sonars, combat and mission systems. Since there are a variety of systems and technologies across the NAVSEA portfolio, you will use your program management skills to plan strategy, build schedules, define required resources (both human and automated) and track programs through testing events and milestones. In your position, you will help SEA 03 through a digital transformation, moving from manual to automated test and evaluation processes, so that we can ensure that Navy systems are protected.
More About the Role
* Manage and track cybersecurity test and evaluation milestones across the Navy portfolio
* Integrate with Navy SYSCOMs, understanding the interrelationships among the procurement programs and the technologies already deployed across the fleet
* Conduct final reviews and recommend acceptance for the NAVSEA Product Architecture Domain Modeling (PADM) package process
You'll Bring These Qualifications
* BS Degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering
* COMPTIA - Security +, Network + or comparable certificate
* Active Top Secret Security Clearance, SCI eligible
* 10 years of experience in Naval Engineering and Cybersecurity
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
* Experience with US Naval Ship System Engineering and Cybersecurity
* Experience with Industrial Control Systems Design and Protection
* Experience with Program Management (PMP desired) leading a team of 10 or more people
* Knowledge of NAVSEA policies on Cybersecurity for Shipboard Equipment
* Knowledge of NAVSEA SEA 03/05 organization
* Experience with MBSE, Systems Modeling and SysML
