Lead Cybersecurity Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a global leader in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Business Systems Analyst to work alongside a senior Product Owner, sometimes acting in her/his stead. This group protects their organization from cybersecurity risks through world class security architecture, engineering and governance practices. In this role, you will author business use cases and user stories to create backlog items, liaise between IT and business stakeholders to foster an understanding of the end-user needs and the company's security capabilities and incorporate feedback into the backlog, lead workflow design, assist with UX design, and of course working with the PO to create presentations, blog posts, operating procedures and other documents for the team using your strong technical writing skills

While this is not a hands-on cybersecurity engineer role, you should be comfortable with the following skill sets and have similar experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of related experience
• Business Analyst experience using Agile methodologies to include experience in requirements gathering, analysis and process mapping
• Ability to embrace a collaborative approach to requirements development and refinement
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills

• Proficiency with SQL language

• Jira, Excel (tables & formulas), PowerPoint, Visio

Much preferred:

• 4 year college degree
• Cybersecurity related certifications

• Minimum 5+ years of related experience

Candidates should reside in the Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL and be prepared to commute to the office 2-3 days/wk starting in March 2022. As this employer supports the financial services industry, you must be able to successfully pass a strenuous background check process. You should have experience working in a large corporate environment, FinServ experience would be very helpful, to understand the regulatory aspects of the job. Candidates must be US Citizens or authorized to work for any US based company without sponsorship.
