Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Audit Support Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting a federal client. You will be responsible for supporting federally mandated cybersecurity audits evaluating the effectiveness of the agency's cybersecurity measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with federal and industry standards and regulations. You possess a strong technical background, extensive knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, and exceptional analytical and communication skills. What you get to do every day: * Facilitate and coordinate ongoing audits (e.g. FISMA, OIG, GAO) and remediation activities between various stakeholders for a federal client. * Administer the agency's audit management tool including maintaining and creating audit records, audit findings, corrective audit plans, Provided by Client (PBC) requests, and artifacts. * Coordinate audit artifact requests with stakeholders such as systems owners, business owners, CSPs, and third-party service providers. * Support auditor fieldwork and remediation activities by attending meetings and facilitating artifact collection. * Review, provide input, identify improvement areas, and coordinate draft audit reports. * Set up and attend meetings; Follow up on action items. * Triage, risk rank and coordinate remediation of audit findings. * Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts. * Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support to our federal client. Qualifications **US Citizenship, Public Trust Eligibility required** What skills are required? * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or University required * Minimum ten (10) years of general work experience and five (5) years IT, IT Security, or IT audit experience * Proven experience in cybersecurity auditing, risk assessment, or related roles * Certification(s) in Information Security (e.g., CISSP or CISM) * Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in audit documentation and reporting. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. What is ideal? * Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) * Experience with IT ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) and eGRC tools (Archer, CSAM, eMASS, etc.) Location: * This role will be hybrid in nature with regular on-site presence a few times a week in Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is typically $130-140k.
