Our work depends on a Cybersecurity Architect joining our team to support the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration.

The National Nuclear Security Administration IT Managed Services (NIMS) is an exciting program performing IT support for the Department of Energy's organization responsible for enhancing national security through the application of nuclear science by maintaining and enhancing the safety, security, and effectiveness of the US nuclear weapons stockpile. This support is provided in several locations across the US giving employees great options for geographically diverse work locations. The primary goal of the program will be to support the NNSA Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in modernizing its IT and Cybersecurity Infrastructure and transforming current IT and Cybersecurity services to a managed service environment.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will provide support to evaluate cyber defense systems and current ground segment architecture for the assigned Government IT systems in order to defend against cyber risks.

Further responsibilities include:

+ Provide recommendations to fulfill cyber defense guidance and methodologies.

+ Develop system design and architecture requirements with supported SPOs.

+ Develop procedures to evaluate and validate new requirements.

+ Develop and support implementation of cyber defense systems. Provide recommendations to the sustainment, acquisition, and operational organizations associated with the system.

+ Analyze Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) tools/services.

+ Analyze and support engineering and architecture considerations affecting DoD IT assets.

+ Re-architect systems to improve cyber resilience.

+ Evaluate current and emerging technologies, COTS software, or GOTS software for integration.

+ Implement, configure, and tune cyber capabilities.

+ Integrate, install/deploy, and optimize the technical solutions.

+ Perform architectural analysis and modeling that provides input for architectural artifacts.

+ Design, develop, and implement improvements to enhance space mission assurance.

+ Provide Enterprise Architecture products focused on cyber defense data flows/usage and transactions including netflow reporting, network performance metrics, and space mission assurance metrics.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED:**

+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related experience.

+ 10 years of relevant experience

+ CISSP certification

+ DOE Q, L, or TS clearance
