You will be part of a growing team driving strategic programs, data analytics, innovation, deals, cyber resilency, response, and technical implementation activities. You will have access to not only the top Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics professionals at PwC, but at our clients and industry analysts across the globe. Our Diligence, Integrations and Divestitures team is focused on working with clients throughout the Mergers and Acquisitions lifecycle will put you at the center of our clients' growth strategies, working at "deal speed." You will get the experience of working with an array of other PwC M&A specialists, our clients, their lawyers, bankers, and other professional advisors. You will help our clients understand the risks and business implications associated with a potential deal, or plan the integration or separation of a future deal. Ultimately, you will sharpen your technical skills and knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and forensics and at the same time learn to speak in the language of deals. You will learn how to provide the most value to our clients in M&A by explaining to them how cybersecurity, privacy, or forensics issues could affect their deal thesis and cause them to either adjust their price or long run return on investment assumptions.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success to:

  • Lead rapid assessments of Companies’ cybersecurity and data privacy programs;

  • Develop cybersecurity and data privacy long term strategy and related cost models;

  • Communicate cybersecurity, technology, and privacy concepts to senior business leaders and executives; and,

  • Write concise cybersecurity and data privacy impacts, findings, and recommendations from a business lens.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge about:

  • Technology, cybersecurity, and data privacy risks associated with different M&A constructs such as carve outs, Transaction Services Agreements (TSAs), integrations, and separations; and,

  • Scoping, Budgeting, Coordinating engagements among multi-functional teams (e.g., finance, technology, HR).

Demonstrates technical proficiency in one or more cybersecurity or data privacy domains:

  • Vulnerability management;

  • Incident response;

  • Product security;

  • Identity and access management;

  • CCPA or GDPR control implementations;

  • Configuration management;

  • Implementation of controls across a complete security framework;

  • Network security architecture; and/or,

  • Leading multiple concurrent projects in a very fast-paced environment
