Cyber Security Specialist - Allentown, PA

Exciting Cyber Security Specialist opportunity for a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing organisation.

Within this position you will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of digital assets, customer data, and systems.

This organisation will be looking for you bring your prior experience and expertise across security best practises, industry regulations and risk mitigation, into their environment.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited too:

• Develop and enforce security policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Advise and collaborate with teams and stakeholders on recommended security approaches and solutions.
• Support the implementation and improvement of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems and processes.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation, and perform regular reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of network, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory security to identify and mitigate risks.

Key experience required:

• One or more IT Security certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA etc.
• Proficient in patch and vulnerability management using Qualys, ensuring systems are up to date and secure.
• Experience with secure internet access and secure private access solutions, specifically with ZScaler, to establish and maintain a robust security posture.
• Familiarity with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, particularly Trend Micro ApexONE, for proactive threat detection and incident response.
• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems, such as CyberArk, to enforce strict control over privileged accounts and access.
