Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join the nuclear team in Oak Ridge, TN.

Job Description

Reports directly to the Information Technology Manager

Knowledgeable of risk management approach documents as required by DOE Order 205.1B, Chg. 2, DOE Cyber Security Program, and DOE Office of Environmental Management Cyber Security Policy and Risk Management Approach Implementation Plan.

Candidate must possess knowledge of cyber incident and response, forensics, and related current events

Performs cyber security scanning, inspections, and reviews as directed.

Provides Local Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 Server support including system patching/patch management, anti-virus protection, and upgrades.

Ensures that the proper level of risk is managed to prevent unacceptable, adverse impact on information and information systems recommending modifications to cyber security measures, as needed, to senior management.

Performs control and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls, and recommends remedial action

Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies

Performs the periodic cyber security assessments of information systems as part of the Self-Assessment Program and maintains current knowledge of threats that can affect information systems.

Maintains a current Cyber Security Plan of Action and Milestones and submits updates periodically to the Isotek ISSO and ISSM as required.

Familiarity Vulnerability Assessment tools such as Nessus

Performs cyber security inspections, tests, and reviews
