Position Summary:

This position will be part of a highly collaborative, driven team that works closely together to tackle everything from support to long-term infrastructure and cyber security strategy planning. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the technology strategy for the entire enterprise. The Cyber Security Manager will be leading the team that protects Graton Resort & Casino’s information systems and data.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
  • Create an environment that fosters cooperation and innovation as the foundation of building a highly functional technical team.
  • Manage a team which includes cyber security engineers, disaster recovery, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Responsible for running the vulnerability management and remediation program.
  • Participate in IT projects to assist the team in planning security from the very beginning of system planning and research.
  • Responsible for developing the strategy that will enable Graton Resort & Casino to achieve its evolving Cyber Security objectives.
  • Responsible for managing the Cyber Security Awareness Training Program for the business. Responsible for phishing campaigns and monthly training topics.
  • Continual development and improvement of Cyber Security policies, processes, and procedures for IT and the business.
  • Responsible for managing change management for the IT Department.
  • Own system access standards for information systems. Update current system access standards as changes are required and create a system access standard for new systems.
  • Monitor daily operations reports for technology issues.
  • Work with the team to investigate and plan business solutions, technologies, and opportunities that can benefit the organization and/or their area of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience, or five (5) years of experience with Information Systems.
  • Strong foundation in leadership. Minimum eight (8) years’ experience managing or supervising other individuals.
  • Experience with networking, preferably with two (2) or more years of experience as a network engineer.
  • Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management and risk assessment, threat intelligence, and behavioral based IDS.
  • One of the major Cyber Security: CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Cloud security track is a plus.
  • Experience with automation/scripting tools for security automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Understanding of security architectures.
  • Experience with incident response, and computer forensic tools.
  • Experience with participating in projects from a security perspective.
  • Ability to work well in a highly team driven environment.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
