LEAD CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER

Lead Cybersecurity Engineer Overview
The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer III position will be the third line of defense against cyberattacks focusing on Identity and Privileged Access Management. The responsibilities include developing, implementing, and managing secure identity solutions, developing polices, carrying out assessments, architecting, and engineering/developing trusted systems into secure systems.
Lead Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work
  • Responsible for technical advisory to research teams
  • Update, sustain, and administer a high level of security for in-house security infrastructures
  • Apply system security engineering principles to deliver real solutions premeditated to enhance the security position
  • Implementation and administration of the CyberArk platform including but not limited to patching, troubleshooting, onboarding, and configuration management
  • Integrate, design, and configure various platforms with CyberArk Privileged Cloud, such as Windows Servers, *NIX Servers, SAP, SQL/Oracle database, Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, Oracle, GCP)
  • Define and build out role-based access control, Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies
  • Identify threats and develop suitable defense measures, evaluate system changes for security implications, and recommend enhancements, research, and draft cyber security white papers, and provide first-class support to the cyber security operations staff for resolving difficult cyber security issues
  • Write Risk Management Framework (RMF)-based policies and procedures, and develop comprehensive cyber security processes to contain implementation
  • Manage and lead security incident response efforts
  • Conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and escalate as appropriate, including providing recommendation of appropriate remedial strategies
  • Perform education and enablement activities related to PAM and general cybersecurity best practices

Lead Cybersecurity Engineer Qualifications

  • BS in Information Technology or related field or a Cybersecurity Certification (Security +/GSEC) OR relevant work experience
  • 5 or more years in the field of Identity Governance and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Cybersecurity SIEM, Cloud Security Principles, Data Governance Principles
  • Experience in integration and administration of identity and access management (IAM) solutions (such as Azure AD, Okta, CyberArk, SailPoint)
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity NIST Frameworks
