Peraton is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to collaborate with an advanced software development team building cutting edge cyber capabilities. In this position, you will run a variety of personal security products (PSP) against developed software tools. You will make technical assessments of the design and implementation against requirements to identify specific features and functions that trip PSP alerts. You will perform technical and risk asessments of tools against computer, network and database security mechanisms and make recommendations for survivability measures.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering or other technical fields of study;
10-12 years of experience performing digital forensics analysis or other relevant work, 8-10 years of experience with an MS degree, or 5-7 years with a Phd.
Demonstrable experience performing technical risk assessments of software products.
Demonstrable understanding of personal security products from various AORs.
Demonstrable experience conducting software tests on virtual and bare metal platforms.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrable experience writing and implementing the customer's proprietary framework.
Experience working with/in the IC.

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
