At the US Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) within Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, Jacobs Technology employees, along with our teammate companies Caelum, SOI, eLe, Trident, Survice Engineering, Focused Ingenuity, and QED ensure the weapons, vehicles, and equipment that the war fighter depends on are safe, effective and reliable.

Job Description: The Cyber-Security Analyst will support the Aberdeen Test Center cybersecurity team working projects/service/accreditation. The position will be responsible for documenting the results of Assessment and authorization activities and technical or coordination activity. Prepare System Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M. Periodically conduct a complete review of each systems audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed. Apply cybersecurity principals to provide realistic configuration management solutions designed to enhance the ATC/ATEC network security posture. Specific expertise shall include but not limited to utilizing DISA tools; Infrastructure Design and STIG compliance; Systems Security and documentation development. Strong writing and project management skills necessary to participate in projects and produce documentation required for certification evaluation. Strong interviewing skills in order to obtain answers for the implementation and Risk Assessment plan. Able to perform analysis of software risks. Exceptional understanding and mastery of the Risk Management Framework Certification and accreditation process. Must be highly self- motivated and directed with keen attention to detail; have creative problem-solving abilities; ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; ability work with minimal oversight.
Qualifications: Must have 5 years applicable experience. Preferred experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information technology or other relevant field. IAM Level 2 Certification and/or CISSP. Experience performing Test and Evaluation activities to include: Interoperability Testing; Validation & Verification Testing; Government Acceptance Test; Security Testing and Evaluation. Familiarity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-37 Guide for Applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls. Familiarity with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology.

May require sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time (up to 95%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (up to 10%). The ability to push and pull, as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required (up to 10%).

Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task. Position will require multiple task efforts. Travel may be required periodically for specific task related functions as well as to obtain training necessary for this position.
Performs planning and execution of test and evaluation programs involving integrated weapons systems and munitions, automotive systems, precision instrumentation systems and unmanned vehicles (up to 90%). Work also requires regular use of typical office equipment such as the personal computer (up to 80%), copiers (up to 2%), and fax machines (up to 2%).

Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice.

Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance in order to gain access to required areas, networks and systems within thirty (30) days of date of your offer letter. Must further be able to obtain and retain a secret security clearance. Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Must be able to obtain and retain unescorted access to work areas. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required. Must have a valid drivers license and personal transportation for the purpose of moving around on the proving ground to accomplish job functions and in order to operate a rental vehicle if and when travel is required.
