RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst II.

Summary:

In this role, the Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for triaging alerts from one of our cyber security toolsets that are arranged by -station-. Each station is focused on a particular technology area or potential attack vector such as email, network traffic, host endpoints, etc. The Cyber Security Analyst will need to understand the type of alerts generated by the sensors within this technology area and have knowledge and experience that would allow them to properly triage these alerts with accurate documentation. First day will consist of general onboarding to the company's network and beginning setup with required cyber security tools.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Cyber Security team with protecting confidentiality and integrity of the organization's information assets
• Monitoring networks for security events and alerts to potential/active threats, intrusions, and/or indicators of compromises, analyze trends to determine downstream impact, and partner with applicable departments to ensure appropriate actions are taken to minimize risks
