Cyber Security Response Analyst
Full time, direct hire
100% Remote (can be based in AZ, CO, FL, GA, Chicagoland counties in IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MI, MN, NC, OH, TN, TX or UT ONLY)
First shift 7 am - 5 pm CST
On call rotation- approx every 6 weeks
The Cyber Security Response Analyst is a key member of the IT Security team. In this role, the Cyber Security Response Analyst will provide cyber incident response, IT security operational support (boundary, network, endpoint, email, monitoring, etc.) as well as implements and updates IT security operations, documentation of policies and procedures.
Duties will include:
Troubleshooting and resolving security related outages
Work with IT security teams to identify issues and implement solutions and tools
High level (2nd/3rd level) support and analysis during and after security incidents
Monitors reports and security logs for unusual events
Supports security operations including IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, email security, vulnerability scanning, DLP and firewall config
Develops and documents IT security policies and procedures
Forensics capabilities for cyber investigations
Review Security and compliance Develop and communicate
IT Security Awareness updates and training to users as needed
