Success in these focus areas requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, exploits, cybersecurity controls, and the ability to provide accurate, digestible verbal and written reports to both technical and non-technical audiences to convey the details of the vulnerability, exploitation attempts and justification of the assessed priority. This role also drives initiating the Emergency Vulnerability Remediation (EVR) process for accelerating patch deployment or other remediation efforts within the client area. This encompasses drafting and publishing an initial report, updating the initial assessment once exposure information is available, producing a final recommendation for the CISO and delegates, and being available to respond to technical questions around the vulnerability, exploitation and mitigating controls deployed. Success in these focus areas requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication and project management skills.
