Information and Cybersecurity (ICS) is a part of Wells Fargo Technology. ICS is responsible for protecting the company from cyber threats, engaging with Wells Fargo businesses, assessing information security risk, providing identity services, performing security engineering, and operating the ICS function.

ICS pioneers solutions to secure customer information and enable our partners. This group’s mission is to deliver seamless security for stakeholders by empowering the team to manage risk and provide proactive, innovative, and resilient solutions.
This position is the Divisional Business Services Lead (D-BSL) for ICS Cybersecurity Client Office Group (ICSCCOG) and is considered a Chief of Staff role for ICSCCOG. This person will report to and provide support to the Cybersecurity Client Officer for various functions such as:

  • Planning & Reporting - Managing headcount pipeline, monthly business review support, and supporting lead Cybersecurity Client Office Group on performance management 
  • Team Liaison - Acts as liaison to ICS Business Services (ICSBS) and Finance teams. 
  • Coordination - Will provide coordination across teams within ICSCCOG and the larger ICS team for overall business strategies and operations functions.  Examples include consulting and implementation support for operational strategies, providing guidance and support based on guidance for Cyber lead, for the various monthly management routines in ICS as well as the monthly Tech Business review.   
  • Communication – Acts to communicate strategy and works with Cybersecurity Client Officer to execute on strategic initiatives
  • Thought Leadership – Acts as a strategic thought partner to Cybersecurity Client Officer on impact-focused planning and prioritization, and surfaces key issues to the Cybersecurity Client Officer for awareness and action 
  • Executive Presence & Deep Understanding - Demonstrates “executive presence” and is able to quickly establish credibility with executives and key stakeholders.  Demonstrates deep understanding of key business and customer interests and needs. 

Coordination and orchestration with ICSCCOG teams on existing operational processes in support of monthly management routines.  This encompasses the review and documentation of current state, gap analysis, and identifying activities to move towards operations target state.  Performs review and analysis of data gathered across the teams and rationalizes/normalizes the data to provide a comprehensive and consistent view to Cybersecurity Client Officer of activities being performed and planned. 

Liaison between ICSCCOG and the ICSBS and Finance teams for business operations associate with ICSCCOG budget, headcount management, asset lifecycle management (tech refresh and organic growth), project planning coordination and time tracking (STAMP).   Attends weekly business review sessions with the ICSBS team to provide input and feedback from the ICSCCOG teams as well as partnering with the ICSBS on implementation of new or modified business routines.  Supports business case development, executive reporting, management routine coordination, supporting the leadership team to meet commitments, and special projects. 

Provide consultation to the leaders within ICSCCOG around organizational goals and strategies.  Helps ensure alignment and support with higher level ICS and Technology goals and strategies.  

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 5+ years of information security experience

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including those related to conflict resolution

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting or Information Security strategic position in a large organization
  • 5 + years cybersecurity analysis experience 
  • Information Security Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
  • Ability to manage details and projects across the cybersecurity Relations function
  • Advanced knowledge of Information and cybersecurity topics and organizations
  • In-depth understanding of information security threats, trends and industry best practices and security tools
  • Advanced information and cybersecurity presentation and communications development experience
  • Experience in large business case development
  • Ability to prepare and lead effective executive presentations. 
  • Finance sector security experience or other regulated industry (e.g. utilities, health care, government)
  • Strong time management skills including the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
