The Select Group's client who is a Fortune 500 industry leader is in search of a Cyber Network Security Engineer located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a PERM opportunity. I am looking for someone who has experience supporting network security infrastructure in an enterprise level environment. This person needs to have experience with designing and implementing Firewalls, Endpoint Security, and providing threat detection and vulnerability management.

• Designing, implementing and troubleshooting network security for enterprise customers

• Designing and implementing firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.

• Implementing firewall infrastructure changes

• Providing intrusion detection and prevention systems

• Providing Engineering solutions for Security access and control

• Configuring and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches

• Troubleshooting IP internetworking, LAN Switching, IP Routing protocols (BGP), MPLS, Multicast

• Resolve client connectivity and interference networking issues

• Working directly with the customers to gather requirements and be the subject matter expert on security projects

• 5+ years' experience as Security Engineer in an enterprise environment

• Experience in general Networking including routing and switching experience

• Firewall configurations

• Experience with ASA's, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc.

• Experience with End Point Security technologies

• Intrusion Protection System/ Intrusion Detection System (IPS/IDS) experience

• Threat and Vulnerability management experience

• Malware and Spyware experience

• Proficient with security technologies including: IPS/SourceFire, CSM, ACS, VPN, FTD, Trustec, Stealthwatch, etc.

• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols

• CCNA/ CCNP Certification Preferred

• Ethical hacking certifications and/or experience (EC- Council CEH)

• Working directly with Customers on networking issues
