Job Summary: The Senior Analyst, Security is responsible for understanding and working with the team in security activities, delivery, innovation, design, architecture, technical management, and service operation functions as appropriate in cybersecurity disciplined fields. They will contribute and participate in Threat and Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Response, Security Operations, Architecture and Technical Design, Cryptography, Legal, Regulations, Compliance Investigations, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Emerging Technologies security planning, and Security Vendor Assessments. This role will actively contribute to complex technical scenarios across an international audience. They will also provide detailed technical cybersecurity support to peers, other members of GIS and business stakeholders alike. They will work across a variety of critical business domains including consumer, dealer, corporate and industry lines such as manufacturing, financial services, and general merchandise, etc. This outstanding opportunity is located in Chicago, Illinois. Job Responsibilities: • Manage outcome based delivery model via outsourced partner leveraging technical leadership to pre-defined desired service operations outcomes • Demonstrate understanding of cyber security structures, theories, principles and best practices • Knowledge of the best available tools, software, threat hunting techniques, applications and systems for maintaining best-in-class security environment status • Demonstrate expertise with security and information system life cycle methodologies, including remediation of cyber security audit risk mitigation activities. • Assist with security testing and vulnerability testing across various technical mediums • Execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and multi-task Education Requirements: • This position requires a High School Diploma Job Requirements: Required: • 5 years active cyber security domain experience • Participation in establishing cybersecurity framework • Hands on experience and proficiency in various cybersecurity tools that are common across the information security industry, to include: SIEM, Vulnerability Management Tools, NGFW, Advanced Endpoint Protection tools, Penetration testing etc. Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Information Systems or Services is preferred. • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (within 12 months of employment) • Experience with multiple cyber security domain competencies to build in a matrixed environment • In-depth knowledge of common network cyber security tools/technologies to support the information security program Our Client offers an inclusive compensation package including, but not limited to, annual bonus programs, health, dental and vision insurance benefits, a 401k program, employee discounts on products and accessories, exceptional training and advancement opportunities and more.
