IA/Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Work under limited supervision and provide Cybersecurity and privacy analysis and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance life cycle process. Perform planning and continuous monitoring of Cybersecurity and privacy policies, programs, compliance artifacts, and standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation, and management. Administer the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to assure systems meet security and privacy requirements. Consult on the assessment of the effectiveness of an organization’s IT security and privacy training program, including consulting on social engineering exercises to ensure training remains consistent with current Cybersecurity and privacy threats and policies and assist with achieving full compliance with all laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with IT networking
-3+ years of experience in a DoD network environment
-3+ years of experience with system and network vulnerability analysis, risk assessment and risk mitigation analyses, security test and evaluation (ST&E), contingency planning, and firewall policy, ports, and protocols

-2+ years of experience with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
-Knowledge of A&A
-Knowledge of IA or INFOSEC concepts and requirements and DoD C&A process and standards

-Knowledge of vulnerability remediation asset manager (VRAM) activities
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-IAT Level II Certification, including Security+

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the mission critical procedures, systems, and processes for public naval shipyards’ IT and Cybersecurity requirements
-Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
