Job Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Hourly Rate: $75/hr

Job Summary:

  • We currently have an immediate need for a Cybersecurity IA Architect to work for a Major Defense Contractor on a Military Vehicle Program.

Job Description:

  • Work with project leads and customer to identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the assessment, documentation and categorization of risks
  • Document existing cyber risks and vulnerabilities
  • Actively participate as the point person in a cyber security working group
  • Become fluent in the current software architecture and analyze it for points of cyber risk / vulnerability
  • Audit existing embedded software and architecture against the RDAC risk matrix
  • Work with systems software/hardware designers to create designs that are cyber resilient
  • Work with outside cyber auditors to facilitate cyber assessment exercises
  • Support systems level requirements allocation and testing
  • Prepare and submit status reports to management and support design/code reviews
  • Insure all work conforms to software development process improvement and CMMI Level 5 initiatives

Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience
  • Strong, proven domain expertise in Software Information Assurance / Cybersecurity
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)
  • Working knowledge of DODI8500.2 and AR25-2 and National Security Agency (NSA) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) process.
  • Working knowledge of National Security Agency (NSA) Risk Decision Authority Criteria (RDAC) methodology
  • Software / Cyber / IA architecture background required
  • Excellent leadership skills required
  • Excellent customer skills required
  • Excellent writing skills required
  • Experience with Secure Real Time Operating System technologies
  • Experience with Embedded Systems Development
  • Experience in using Microsoft software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in single board computer embedded microprocessor software design and development
  • Experience with high level Programming Languages such as C and C++
  • Experience with UML
  • Must have familiarity with Rational SW Development tools – DOORs, Rhapsody, ClearCase, ClearQuest

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with military vehicle software preferred
  • Security certifications preferred
