Job Description
The Cybersecurity Engineer will primarily support the Cyber Network Operations (CNO). The primary focus of work within the CNO is offensive and defensive Cybersecurity research and development. This includes penetration testing, adversary emulation, security technology assessment, security engineering, security architecture assessments, etc.
The individual will assess specific Cybersecurity problems, test and evaluating them, and work with a larger team to identify risks to end users. The individual should enjoy researching and mastering many different types of technologies and offensive and defensive techniques.
Candidates demonstrating system administration or networking mastery across a broad range of systems, or an intense understanding of both high and low level programming languages will also be considered if they demonstrate familiarity/proficiency with InfoSec and PenTesting principles such as through Capture the Flag competitions/online exercises, tools built, etc.
Candidates must possess and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, a team player attitude and an ability to quickly adapt to new situations, customers, and research objectives.

Education:
A Masters degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security
Qualifications:
Ability to apply critical problem solving skills to unfamiliar tasks
1-3 years of experience in the security field
Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience (academic or professional) in programming at least 1 language (C, C++, C#, Java, etc.)
Experience using all major operating systems (Windows/OS X/*nix) with demonstrated mastery of at least one
Minimum 1 year of direct or equivalent experience in the areas of vulnerability analysis/assessment, penetration testing, information assurance, software development, and/or Security-oriented systems engineering
Minimum 1 year of direct experience with designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network routing/switching or virtualization infrastructure
