CYBER SECURITY LEAD
Seeking a Cyber Security Lead for a financial services organization. This is a new position within the organization and will work directly with the CTO. As a Cyber Security Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and leading the overall IT security strategy, including risk, compliance, governance and cyber security of business, customer and consumer data and related applications. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Excellent communication skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the strategy for how the company handles information technology security, risk and compliance challenges
Drive evangelization and education of cyber security services within the organization
Design and implement procedures and controls necessary to ensure and protect the safety and security of all information system assets within the organization
Participate & lead organizational security efforts including audits, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, patches, access control and other policies
Monitor and audit applications, networks and systems for security issues and ensure compliance
Lead security related investigations as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years prior experience as a Cyber Security focused professional (Applications and Network Security)
Previous experience managing Information Security at commercial software companies is ideal
Previous experience working within a .NET SaaS organization is desired.
BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related discipline desired
Expert-level understanding of today's technology threat landscape and information security architectures, as well as applicable laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks (SOC I/II, PCI-DSS, etc.)
Previous experience growing out a team as well as established processes, procedures and best practices is highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive the right response and investments to deal with risk
Proven experience instituting a culture of security where security becomes ingrained in every employees day to day activities
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISSLP, or CISSP-ISSMP, CISA, CEH, ISSAP, ISSEP preferred
Experience with Agile SDLC
Must have the desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality
Ability to consider context and adapt communication and design style based on the deliverable and the target audience
Outstanding attention to details and genuine interest in using technology to solve problems
Ability to turn data and stakeholder goals into easily navigable experiences
