Top Three Skills:1) Hands-On Network Defense Experience (Preferably in a DOD Cyber Organization: CNDSPs, CPTs, Fleet Cyber Command, ARCYBER, MARFORCYBER, 24th Air Force, JFHQ DODIN, USCYBERCOM, etc)

2) Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools

3) Must be a highly effective communicator, and be able to articulate Cyber Operations methodolgies

SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, GPEN, GREM, GWAPT, GWEB, SECURITY+, CNDA
Job Description: Essential Job Functions:
* Develop and deliver technical training curriculum for in-residence and online courses and programs on various software and hardware applications and systems. Determine content and establish prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees.
* Conduct research and develop technical and user manuals to support training.
* Work with instructional design and technical support teams to ensure material is accurate and reflects current technologies and TTPs.
* Conduct advanced training courses in intrusion investigation, log analysis, malware analysis and other relevant topics, through use of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
* Work with other program teams to conduct needs assessments to ensure stakeholders' training requirements are met.
* Review and analyze course evaluations to determine training effectiveness. Revise course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.
* Review external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase. Deliver pilot version and evaluate curriculum, making recommendations for improvement.
* Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.
* Stay current on and maintain proficiency with current products and technologies in the cyber domain.

Basic Qualifications

* Must hold a Secret-level security clearance
* Bachelor's degree (computer science or related field preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Five or more years of experience in Network Defense or Defensive Cyber Operations
* Experience working with IDS, IPS and SIEM tools
* Experience working with systems infrastructure including hardware configuration, operating system and networks

As the DOD stands up Cyber Mission Forces, the need for high quality training has become more apparent. DCITA has been providing Cyber Forensics and Investigations training to the DOD and Federal Law Enforcement, but now feels the time is right to expand their offerings to include full spectrum Cyber Operations.

This individual will be asked to help develop coursework and deliver instruction on Network Defense, Network Exploitation and Cyber Operations topics. These will be new offerings from DCITA, so it is imperative that candidates are comfortable providing input on the training needs of Defensive Cyber Operations professionals in the Department of Defense.
